WHAT DO WE DO?
We support shelters for homeless, ensuring that services focus on the developmental needs of the smallest homeless children.
WHY WE DO IT?
The stress associated with not having a home can significantly impede the child’s health and development, particularly during the first five years of life when brain development is more active.
Why is important?
One of six people currently lacks decent housing Due to poor housing, polluted water and inadequate sanitation, about 50,000 people die every day, mostly women and children. The problem is disproportionately concentrated in villages in the undeveloped world. For our part, we try to put a roof over as many heads as possible.
Our work
In addition to building houses, Embracing the World seeks to build entire communities, with municipal halls, roads, public lighting, wells and sewage and potable water systems.
Our Approach
For us, housing is more than a roof over a head. We go beyond constructing houses; we are dedicated to build entire communities, which have city council, roads, electricity, wells, sewerage systems and drinking water. Our homes for orphans or children without resources are: attended by volunteers who strive to build trust and inner strength in children, encouraged to follow their dreams.
WE HELP PEOPLE HERE AND NOW. AND WITHOUT LEAVING TO THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE.
