1. Malebage Thilak Sigera was born on 28th July 1967. After secondary education at Royal College Colombo, he has joined the Sri Lanka Navy in June 1987 and currently holding the rank of Commodore in the Logistics branch.
2. Thilak has held many important appointments during his Naval career viz Director Naval Local Procurement, Commodore Superintendent Logistics (Eastern Naval Area), Senior Staff Officer (Foreign Procurement), Senior Staff Officer (Local Procurement), Secretary to Department Procurement Committee at Naval Headquarters and Staff Officer appointments in Naval areas.
3. Commodore Thilak Sigera counts over 29 years of loyal service in the Navy.
4. Thilak is a Lion in the Lions Club of Athurugiriya Millennium City, District 306 C 1 and is a past President of the club.
5. Lion Thilak has involved in many Humanitarian projects as a Lion in his region and many parts of the country.
